Overview
These practical workshops are geared toward new training professionals who want to develop and/or improve their facilitation skills and create successful training programs. The Trainer’s Toolbox series will provide you with a strong "how-to" overview of the entire training function: the Adult Learner, Needs Analysis, Design & Development, Delivery, and Evaluation. You will leave the workshop confident and fully prepared to tackle any training assignment!

  • Series 1 of 5: Center Stage (2 Hours). Series 1 will show a day in life as a trainer and how to apply proven principles of adult learning to your training. It's filled with lots of techniques that will help you connect with your audience and build your credibility as a trainer so that you can consistently exceed learners' expectations.
  • Series 2 of 5: Designing a “Hit” Show (2 Hours). Series 2 gives you a faster needs analysis approach that is realistic in today's climate. It shows you how to apply a highly effective procedure for determining whether or not training is the solution to a job performance problem. It will also provide you with a design process to produce better courses and gives you simple techniques for making your courses popular and interesting.
  • Series 3 of 5: Showtime! Delivering with Style (2 Hours). Series 3 provides you with fundamental facilitation tools and a structured process that can be applied to any type of facilitated session you need to present.
  • Series 4 of 5: Critic Hour: Evaluating the Training Program (2 Hours). Series 4 shows you how to build and communicate a compelling case for the effectiveness of your training programs. You will return to work with the most comprehensive process, tools, and best practices to make a seemingly complex process simple and easy to implement.
  • Series 5 of 5: Winning the Oscar…the Professional Trainer (2 Hour). Series 5 explores the professional aspects of being a trainer. How can you constantly upgraded your skills? How do you become certified by the American Society for Training and Development?
